The Ray Price bronze was commissioned by Parramatta Stadium Trust as the first tribute to the Parramatta “Greats”.

Commissioned as a life-size piece it depicts Ray holding aloft the Windfield Cup trophy after Parramatta’s victory in the 1986 Grand Final against Canterbury.  Ray not only captained the side, but also announced his retirement from Rugby League after the game.  A pose remembered well by Ray and his adoring fans.

The statue of Ray was unveiled by Premier Nathan Rees on February 21, 2009.
